Uncovering the stories of the women featured in Vågespel is both a challenging and important task. Many of the women we include left Norway in the early 1800s. Traces of their lives are often scarce, and it can be difficult to find names, photos, or detailed information.

We’ve done extensive research—digging through letters, family histories, and historical records. Still, we haven’t been able to locate photos of all the women yet.

That’s why we’d love to hear from you! Do you know anything about one of the women mentioned in the podcast? Maybe there’s an old photo album, a letter, a name recorded in a family Bible, or a story passed down through generations? Every small thread can lead us further.
